This weekend is the official first day of Spring. I love Spring, it seems to be a new beginning to life. Where I live (Northern Illinois) winter seems to be so dreary. Darkness comes early and there is hardly any color around. Spring comes, the birds sing, and the color comes back. There seems to be freshness in the air. I can't wait to see my tulips and crocus start coming out of the ground. We have been in the 60 degree range for the last two days, way above the normal. This weekend it will be back in the forties. The picture of my tulips is from May of 2009, this is what I have to look forward to. I have tulips all over the yard, the orange ones always seem to come up first.
